Hospitality Teams

Hospitality Teams

As a church family our desire is to welcome people into our gatherings in a way that expresses love, care, and a genuine desire to know them. We believe this begins the moment they walk through the door. Our hospitality team has the opportunity to make a first impression each week on all who join us for worship. Therefore, it is our desire to equip this team with people who are warm, welcoming, and caring.

Ways you can serve on a hospitality team:

  • Greeting people at the door or at the entrance to the sanctuary

  • Answering questions at the information desk

  • Serving coffee and donuts

If you would like to help us love people well by welcoming and serving them on Sunday mornings please contact the office (office@crcff.com) and Lori Draxten, our Hospitality Coordinator, will follow up with you. She would love to help you join our team!

Care Connection

Care Connection

Acts 20:28 says, “Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.”

Our team of Overseers cares deeply for the people in our church and takes seriously God’s calling on our lives to be shepherds of the church. One way we would like to care for the church  is to make regular phone calls to anyone who would appreciate a personal check-in. The purpose of the call will be to check-in and say hi, see if you have any practical needs the church can care for, and receive any prayer requests that you might have. Our desire is to have everyone at CrossRoads feel connected and cared for.

If you would like to sign up to receive a regular call from an Overseer please email our Care Coordinator, Nancy Nelson. She will be organizing this Care Connection ministry and joining us in making calls. If you have any questions please contact Nancy (nancy@crcff.com).

Prayer

Prayer

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8)

Prayer is a wonderful gift from God. It provides us a way to communicate with him so that we can grow our relationship with him and care for one another. One big way we can care for others is by lifting them up in prayer. We believe that God hears our prayers and cares for our every need.

If you would like to help us care for one another through prayer we would love to have you join our prayer team. This team receives regular emails from our staff to help them know how to be in prayer for one another. To join our prayer team email the office (office@crcff.com) and ask to be added to the prayer team. Thank you so much for your prayers!

The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13)

This, then, is how you should pray:

'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
Your kingdom come, your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’
