Located in Fergus Falls, Matthew House is a faith-based transitional home for men overcoming addiction and/or have been to jail, prison, or treatment programs. By providing a safe, sober, and stable living environment, men can begin the hard work of forgiving themselves, leaving their pasts behind, and creating a new and hopeful future with the help of mentors, programs, and of course, Jesus Christ.
The Salvation Army is an integral part of the Christian Church, although distinctive in government and practice. The Army’s doctrine follows the mainstream of Christian belief and its articles of faith emphasize God’s saving purposes. Its objects are "the advancement of the Christian religion… of education, the relief of poverty, and other charitable objects beneficial to society or the community of mankind as a whole."
Trout Lake Camp's Mission: To engage children, youth and adults with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ by creating unique camp communities and learning experiences in which our words, our service and our personal relationships capture and communicate the essence of the gospel.

We believe that God has called us to bring the hope of the cross and the kingdom of God to our families, our neighbors, our community, our region, and to the world. We hope that our region will be impacted by our local efforts and our development of leaders who are equipped to go out. We also desire to reach the world through strategic partnerships and sacrificial giving of time and resources.
